Finally!!

We finally got our computers and internet hooked up so now we can do a little more than facebook on our phones. :)

Our little home is very cute (and a little empty). The little bit of furniture that we have is at least just enough to make the home looked lived in. :) Our neighbors are so awesome! We are very fortunate to have been placed in a nice little area of the neighborhood where people are so friendly! Two weekends at the beach and we are in love with it! Whenever we are at the coast we feel as if we are on vacation. It's so warm and the water is so nice. But the humidity here is quite a shock. I never thought I would say this...but I miss the desert!!

Unfortunately, my camera battery died and we have yet to find the battery charger...it's amazing to think that even though all of our belongings are in these boxes and were all in the same truck in the same move and are now in the same house together, we still are missing things...but we did have some pretty nice camera phones to help photograph our move. Most of the photos are on the camera, but here is what we do have! :)

The water is sooo warm!! :) (and our feet are sooo dirty!!)

Here's the biggest crab we've seen so far...

& the smallest. :)

I guess this is a medium one.

Um, yeah...it was pretty hot here the first day we arrived. :(

:) We just had to...

That's all for now!! :)

On Friday, July 17th we are having a BYOB Potluck BBQ in American Falls for anyone who would like to come. :) We also are having a brunch for anyone who cannot make it to the Friday celebration. That will be on Saturday, July 18th, also in American Falls. Randy, Shirley & I are still figuring out the details...if you have any ideas or suggestions let me know!! :)

Almost done...

ONE WEEK LEFT!!!

And tomorrow is the last day to send Harold letters. After that, anything you send to him may just end up lost & forgotten somewhere in Chicago. :(

As this long & exhausting 2 months comes to an end, I would like to say THANK YOU to everybody who sent letters, cards, and notes letting Harold know you are still here waiting for him to come home. I know it means so much to him to know he has everyone's support, and it means a lot to me, also.

Seven days until Shirley, Randy, Bradley & I leave for Chicago. Eight until Harold's graduation!! I'm so excited!! If only I had a fast-forward button...

Graduation Information! :D

Harold's graduation date has been set for JULY 2, 2009!
This is a lot sooner than both he and I were expecting. I have received one phone call from him letting me know that he is doing well and that his training hasn't been as bad as he expected it to be. :) For now, we are just counting down the days until we can finally enjoy just being married! Spending the first months of our marriage with about 1200 miles between us has been very exhausting, and I'm ready for him to just come home!!

Also, I wanted to share that when Harold called me, he told me how much he appreciated the letters and cards he has received. Out of the 100 or so men and women in Harold's division, only 2 people (Harold and one other young man) had received mail so far...I am so frustrated by that!! Every one of those young men and women deserve support. They have chosen to give up at least four years of their lives to serve us and our country. The least anyone can do is simply thank them. So I am sending thank you notes with my letters to Harold now, for whomever he may choose to give them to. If anyone else is writing a letter or card to Harold, maybe you could take a little time and write out a little thank you for another of Harold's division. I know it would be appreciated.

:) Thank you for your support of Harold and I. This time would be much more of a burden without our friends and family.

Harold's Address

For those of you who would like to write to Harold (which I really hope you would!!)...

His recruiter called me today and gave me his address:

SR Phythian, Harold
Division 2009236
Ship 11 USS Kearsage 'LHD3'
Great Lakes, IL 60088

Harold gave me a call last night and let me know that that was his last phone call for 3 weeks. The next time I will get a phone call from him will be in June. :( It was really hard to hear that, and I know it was hard for him to say. So if you could, please keep him in your prayers. I know that he needs as much support as he can get.

I really hope that anyone who can would PLEASE send him a letter. I know he would definitely appreciate your thoughts.

Duty Calls...

The time has come...and I'm just not so sure I'm ready. It came up a little too fast!!

But whether I am ready or not, duty calls...

Harold and I are finishing packing up and moving out tomorrow and staying in a hotel. Harold leaves for Salt Lake City on Wednesday with his recruiter, A.J.. He'll be sent off to Chicago on Thursday, and then the official countdown until his return begins. I'm ready for this to be over!!

For those of you who would like to write Harold (which I hope you will! :D) I will have that information when Harold calls me, once he lands in Chicago. I'll post that on here, Facebook, and Myspace.

My phone number is (208) 406-2394. Feel free to call me for any further information. :)

Thank you for your thoughts and prayers!!
